A lively group of quilters met today at the library for the monthly gathering of Daytime Quilters. Windy Wilt gave us a wonderful presentation of items that could be made quickly and easily from scraps. She called these things "5-10-15 minute gifts." Not only did she give us some good tutorials but she was also highly entertaining. We all got a little goody bag with fabric and polyfil and were able to make a little stuffed pumpkin to take home with us. Thank you Windy! Instructions for the pumpkin (or apple) can be found here. After the presentation we had show-and-tell. (This is like having extra special toppings on ice cream!) Unfortunately, I did not take my camera with me today. Guess it was in that same bag that contained my show-and-tell and that I FORGOT to bring!!
