QA meets

Quiltaholics Anonymous met today at the Saline County Library in Benton and there were quite a few addicts in attendance.   The weather outside was dreary, cold and rainy.  It was a perfect day to sit with friends and spend time working on various projects. 

 

Fay brought her quilt top that she started in a class with Maggie Ball.

On the back of the quilt she is going to put some blocks that she unearthed from a class on log cabins that she took many years ago.  Look what you can do with log cabins!!  Who knew??

I brought a Valentine's Day countdown calendar that was not quite done and promised I would show a picture of it after I got it completed.  Would you believe I actually finished it and got it delivered---only 4 days late!  This was made from a design available at the San Francisco Stitch Company and involves machine embroidery.  All the little items you see are pockets into which you can put candy or whatever you want.
