QA

Quiltaholics Anonymous met on Monday--which also happened to be April Fool's Day---at the Herzfeld Memorial Library in Benton.  No pranks were pulled but there was at least one
problem  solved.  (This is a good time to get answers to your quilty questions!)

Jane brought some log cabin blocks so she could get help with their arrangement and this is what we suggested.  I said "we"---actually Fay just whipped these blocks right into line and we all agreed that it looked good.  This will be a charity quilt.

Jane completed this cheery charity quilt with a jelly roll purchased from Tuesday Morning, backing fabric from Troyetta and quilting done by Beth:

Look at these cute little bunnies that Windy made from yo yos.  She also wove tiny ribbon in the edging all the way around this antique linen:

Pat, Jane and Cheri had a lesson on how to make a teacup pincushion and this was the result:

Cely was hand quilting a charity quilt that she made from cat-themed fabric.  She had some cute cat appliques:

Troyetta worked on English paper piecing using teeny tiny tumblers.  Her goal is to get at least 100 of these made and not one will be of the same fabric.

Caroline was knitting a prayer shawl for her church.  (As you knit, you pray----thus, prayer shawl.)

Brenda brought embroidery work that will eventually be a table runner:

Sidney worked on some hand quilting:

Pat put the finishing touches on a butterfly block that will be part of the block-of-the-month being demonstarted in our 5:30 workshop:

Until next time~~Gwen
