Daytime Stitchers---August 25

The Daytime Stitchers group met at the Saline County library on Monday, August 25.  Patty gave tutorials on several recent projects she had completed.  She also showed some of her quilts.




Use plastic canvas to make new fly swat covers:

After Patty's tutorial we had show-and-tell.
Cely has been busy working on her snowman:

Windy found some neat yarn that has already been knitted into a tube to make a scarf:

 JoAnn brought a small quilt she finished, 

 a quilt block she unearthed,

 hangers that she is covering with crochet,

Marguerite brought several things she had finished.

She finally finished this quilt.  Each block is machine embroidered and appliqued.  



 Marguerite likes to do hand embroidery so is trying something new: white work.
